ARTIST STATEMENT
Like any other writer, I write because I have to. Call it what you like, exercising demons; dealing with stuff; navel gazing…it rarely feels like artistry. It feels like a swirling cloud of fleece teased into strands, spun on a wheel and knitted into a crazy patterned cardigan with ladybird buttons.
It feels like craft.
