ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a native German writing in English. I joined SCBWI in hopes of finding native speakers in my area to network with. Therefore, I’m extremely lucky to have found a wonderful group of writers and illustrators in the Germany/Austria chapter of SCBWI and a group that meets almost monthly in Stuttgart.
At the moment I’m writing a YA dystopia set about 700 years in the future.You can read about my journey as a writer, my poems, my work in progress and – as I am fascinated with the topic – story structure on my blog/homepage.
